She actually smiled at the end of the first spoonful. The rest of the "meal" was a little more difficult.
The 3rd day we fed it to her, she seemed to do a lot better.
Today we tried sweet potatoes - she really enjoyed them!
Last Friday - Oct 22nd - was our ward's trunk or treat. I know some of y'all are saying that the 22nd is way too early for such a thing, but we have 3 wards in our building & this was our night to have the building. Sydney dressed up as a "butterfly". A friend from our ward, Karen, found these small little wings that fit her just right. I went to JoAnn's and bought some "netting" and made a little purple tutu to match. (Yes, I know that butterflies don't have tutu's, but it was cute!) Her little headband with a "too big" flower - it is a costume dad, so it is ok! - and her little antennaes. Grandma & Grandpa Phil came over and went to the chili dinner/trunk-or -treat with us.
As you can see, Sydney was soooo excited to go trunk-or-treating! It would've been nice if she would've woken up for some part of the night's festivities. :) Oh well, there is always next year!

What do you mean too big flower?!? ;0). Anyway her costume turned out really cute. Now when she comes she needs to teach Noah that food is yummy. He HATES baby food of any type except his milk. What a stinker!!
So cute--Tess is a butterfly this year too, and I am doing a tutu as well. It just needs it, right? Sydney is darling as usual. :)
So cute Jill! I think she is looking more and more like you when you were younger! What are others saying?
So, so cute! The Activia thing is a great idea!
